Wednesday 4th of August 1pm - 3.30pm - Our Mcr - FREE Online Coping with anxiety and worry post COVID (2 hours)
This course is running live, online via Zoom, on the following dates:
Wednesday 4th of August 2021 1pm – 3.30pm
1 in 4 of us experience a mental health problem every year.
There’s a huge range of mental health problems. But living well with or without a mental health problem is accessible to us all.
This course offers people an opportunity to talk about their worries, concerns and feelings about returning to work, socialising, and generally adapting to what has been called the new `normal`. The course is designed to recognise the fears people might be facing and validating their anxieties whilst looking at tools and new coping mechanisms they can put in place to help with the transition.
Aims of the session
Recognise the impact covid has on our mental health
Gain insight into the changeability of our mental health – there is no normal response to a pandemic
Understand how stress and anxiety can impact on our coping mechanisms to deal with covid post lockdown
Look at different ways we can cope and what can help build our resilience
To share ideas and coping techniques in a supportive and caring group
Please note that if you can no longer attend this training session, please let us know in advance so we can offer your place to someone else.
