8 week mindfulness and relaxation for menopause course
An 8 week course, focusing on using mindfulness and relaxation techniques to help manage the physical and psychological impacts of this life transition. This is NOT a course explaining the physiological stages of menopause, or looking at medical or natural interventions.

What will I get from the course?
1 induction session of 2.5 hours per week
7 sessions of 2.25 hours per week
Participants are expected to establish a home meditation practice during the course of around 20 minutes a day. Guided meditations, and a course handbook are included to help support you with this.
This course will allow women to support each other, while also teaching mindfulness techniques which are already proven to help stress, anxiety and low-mood. Instead of being a ‘pure’ mindfulness course, we will also include relaxation techniques specifically aimed at increasing capacity to manage anxiety. It is hoped that these techniques will also help women cope with the impact of the physiological symptoms as well.
